Re: Couple electrical issues Need help

Hey Donnie sorry I haven't been on the forum today but your in good hands with Andy.
I think like Andy said that you have some dirty contacts in the turn signal switch.
Check the connector on the steering column for two wires on the light blue and dark blue terminals. These are your front and dash light turn signal wires. You must be getting power to the dark green wire to the rear light since it blinks. If you don't have two wires each on the light blue and dark blue wires then the dash turn signal are connected down behind the fuse panel. Or the contacts for the dark blue wire in the TS switch are not connecting.

Here's what you can do to test. Unplug the harness connector(half moon) at the column and make a short jumper wire. Jump between the purple wire in the center of the connector and the dark blue wire, Key on for power and check for the dash light and the front turn light. They should come on and they might blink. If they do then the TS switch is not delivering power to the dark blue wires. It's possible that you might be able to clean the contacts in the switch and fix the problem.
