Re: First timer with axle questions.
At the minimum I would look for a semi-float 6 lug 14 bolt. Keep the 44 front and go to the later model disc brake front axle which will have the larger axle shaft u-joint. The 68-- closed knuckle drum-- dana 44 will be your weakness.
