I can't remember those two but I know the volt meter just gets it's feed from the +12v feed to the cluster
Also the stock fuel gauge as wired from the fuse block would not work....I ended up wiring straight from the sender, by-passing the fuse block.
Did you get the pulse generator for the speedometer? If not I have an extra that came with the kit I just bought for my '67....the LS1 won't need it.
