Great tip. I plan to do that on my '67. Glass is out now and I plan to cut in the openings with the interior paint. The interior will get finish painted but the outside will be painted Hot Rod Flatz Red Oxide when it is first put together. I plan to fully build the truck without dealing with the body work, hence the primered look. It's all good solid used rust-free OEM sheet metal but I want it all one color. I'll deal with the body refinement once it's drivable, or not. I don't want the time or expense of the body/paint to hold things up. If it never gets painted I will enjoy it as a project-look forever.
