My 2 cents and that's all its worth. Our '67 shop truck had @ 307 V8 manual steering and 3 on the tree. Loved it. Tires were good'ol tall skinnies and drove great. Wasn't difficult to maneuver at all. Today the '71 has power steering and it's nice...if you drive in a rural or semi-rural area where you don't do a lot of big parking lots or big city cruising, why mess with it? Driving situation and what you like/want makes the decision easy for whatever your circumstances are.
Some day wish list includes a bare bones manual everything with an I6 or small V8 just for old time fun.
