As of right now. I went out to the truck and open the door. The smell was there but not near as bad, but the tank is half full.

I decided to lock the sending unit lock ring down all the way. I also took the hose clamps off and rearranged them so they are 90* apart on the hose fittings. I also moved them in closer to the fitting just for good measure, that second hose clamp was close to the edge of the fitting.
I guess I will fill it up and see if it helped.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
