For all the military veterans out there, if you didn't already know, ALL National Parks/ Monuments, etc., are now free entry. You just have to prove you're a veteran at the entrance. Shortly after this change (just a few months ago), I got into a National Monument with my Navy Federal Visa Card, Lol! The ranger was nice enough to allow me 'just this once". But I finally went ahead and got a VA Veterans card, so now I'm legit!

San Diego to Southern Alberta, Canada; a lifetime ago! Loooong overdue for a road trip like that!
