I first went to the Pate Museum swap meet when it was on the Pate Museum grounds in the early 70's. you had to be prepared for anything from slogging in the mud during a rain storm to unseasonably hot weather. In those days I would load my 57 Chevy panel full of parts, haul the parts to Pate with just enough cash to pay for the space and buy gas and hope I sold enough parts to be able to buy a few and buy something for lunch.

I'd say that it won't be an issue of finding somethign to go to, it will be an issue of deciding which event to go to. The decision there may come down to which route has the best barbecue place on it to stop at on the way home.
