My niece (one of them) and her husband ran the one in Clayton for a while. I can't remember
who was going to move up to Guymon and run that one? At one point they were trying to get me to move down there and work in the three dealerships.
I'm glad I didn't now. I don't know if I did/said something wrong but some of the family got a burr under their saddle about me after a while. Maybe they thought I was some sort of gold digger but it was my dad that tracked
me down and called me after 40+ years. And I didn't see any reason to be bitter after all that time. There's always two sides to a story.
But I wish them all well.
When I was down there in 2008, my "retired" dad and I ran errands for the business. Among other things we took a brand new Silverado down to the huge Chevy dealer on the west side of Amarillo and exchanged it for one of a different color, that their customer wanted. Fun times
