Good timing on this question for me as I've been experimenting on this having recently purchased a 700r from monster and one from bowtie. Both transmissions seem about the same in performance but the customer service at bowtie was considerably better. They were true to their timeframe and quick to answer questions. Niether true for monster. I purchased conversion kits from both and the quality of accessories from bowtie was better as well. I used a local builder for a 3rd rebuild but I haven't had a chance to install it yet. It was the least expensive of the 3 but I had to track down my own linkage and accessories.
