Just an update in case anyone cares.
I have the crankshaft, pistons, cam and timing set all installed.
Just a note to anyone that is a rookie at this. Listen to the experts here. Measure everything. I had to sand down the thrust bearing to gain a .002 more clearance. I only had between .002 and .003 and I could not even move the crank. Now I have .005.
Also had to grind a few piston rings that were too tight. Less than .014 and I wanted them all to be .017 for my application.
Heads are next.
