I worked for an old dealership that had been in the same family for several generations. Although you could order GM built NAPCO trucks beginning in '57, this dealership would talk buyers into having the dealer do the swap. After the swap any leftover new parts not claimed by the customer were available to sell to other truck owners.

The '57 Napco I posted a photo of was intriguing. The factory brackets for the original sway bar were still on the frame suggesting a conversion after the factory. But there were some very large brackets on the axle which may have been used to hold a sway bar.
