Well geez, $900 later I bought an LG, but you can bet it won't last 15 years. Downside is nobody local to work on LG.
I did call Sears repair but canceled. Man they asked all the relevant questions, simple automation, and then came COVID, where they asked 7-8 additional questions, and then explained how I'll need a mask and stuff.
Thanks for the info though, I kind of like starting my dryer manually though, duct tape on the button and fire away, even operates when it's open
I feel the pain too, my thumbs are a wreck.
