My tank is in my cab and I am running the FiTech system with a inline pump. I added a 3/8 supply line to my fuel sender, moved the stainer over to the new line and hooked the return up to the original 5/16 line. I tried using standard plumbing solder and couldn't get it to work so I used some Silvaloy brazing alloy that I normally use for HVAC. It has been working great since 2015.
I read several threads about issues with the first gen FCC. I would hope FiTech has worked out all the issues with the latest version. There customer service has been excellent for me. They have helped me over the phone & answered my emails. I broke the handheld programmer and they sent a new one free of charge.
