Thank you! More progress this weekend. Painted all of the engine’s sheet metal.
I picked up a new single roller timing set, the factory one had more chain play than I really wanted to see. I also got new upper and lower oil pressure sensors, knock sensor, coolant temp sensor, thermostat and gasket, EGR gasket, and an oil filter.
New timing set installed!
New front main seal, timing cover, and new water pump installed.
Rear main seal, oil pan, and oil filter installed!
I poured some oil in the pan and spun up the oil pump, and we have oil at the rockers! Installed the valve covers, harmonic balancer, and some of the new sensors.
