I recommend the use of a product called "Patina sauce" by Sweet Patina. It leaves a matte sheen and works to preserve the metal while providing a water beading quality like its been waxed. I have used this on the Family Truckster and love it. It smells great too..Maybe I should be in sales. Ha Ha
