Make sure you mask off what you don't want it on, it splatters. There is also a decent amount of air born stuff floating around, like over spray.

Yes I have used both products in my orange truck and love it, I get a thud when I smack the roof, 1 gal of each. put down like they say to. Then I used used just the CI in the black truck, great for temp but not much sound in the one application. This truck I was told to double up on the CI to help with the sound (could not get sound in time) it is better but not a thud. No I use rubberized rocker guard in the fenders.
