68/ though early 70's cars and pickups is what they came in.
The best part is that unlike the 318 you can shift into low smoothly while still rolling up to a light.
They shouldn't be all that hard to find in the Fargo area as there should have been plenty of them sold in pickups in that area around that time. The "I want a new truck but don't want to pay for a bunch of extras" trucks.
I've got some extended family in the Fargo area either Davison or Dunn.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
