GMC offered the 6-71T early on in the 970 series around 1957 rated at 235 H.P., when most 6-71's were 180 H.P.. They must have dropped the engine option sometime before 1960 because I can't find any records of it after. I don't think the 6-71T returned to GMC's until the early 80's.
