Since you are using the C4 accessories, why not use a C4 reservoir in the stock location? I would not want a 180 in that line as it just invites cavitation so for me it would have to go on the passenger side to keep the suction hose as straight as possible. For that longer lines is more volume and should run cooler. On the one I did, I went to a hydraulic shop and bought a piece of hydraulic suction hose to connect the pump and reservoir.

I agree with all of this and appreciate the help. I'll be mounting along the passenger side now. I'll be asking for suction hose when I make the trip over to the hydraulic shop as well
