that’s been a great truck. Rode hard and put away wet everyday. 125,000 in less than 4 years. Only thing it’s had done are oil changes 5-6 sets of tires, and front brakes. It’s still got the original battery in it even. I like that generation of GM trucks pretty well, certain exterior cues like the Chevy front end remind me of the 88-98’s. I’ve had tire chains on all four corners slingin mud from bar ditch to bar ditch more than a handful of times. I’ve also towed a few things, ahem, like the picture above that were way over what I probably should have.
I’m moving into a crew cab short bed ‘22 2500 any day now as soon as the dealer gets it in. I don’t like the current trucks near as much as the older generation. None of the new ones compare to the old ones though.
