steveedee, I believe that is correct - exterior of the door below the trim was painted with secondary color, whereas the full interior of the door and door sills were painted in the primary color. Here's another example of a special two tone, see
pic 4 of this post and you will note the full interior, inner door, and sill are all yellow - while the exterior face of the rocker is medium olive (this truck had a medium olive on the roof and below the lower trim in the Special Two Tone paint scheme originally).
