If it is like mine, the panel covers that seam completely (and a couple of inches of the firewall). It doesn't have a 90 degree bend down to match to the firewall.

On the driver's side pictured it does appear that the corner is bent where the dimmer switch goes.

Also note: on the projects tab Kyle Seal (My 67 build finally) post 37 shows a true drivers floor pan; what you have is referred to as a drop in floor pan.
