Re: Dog dish hubcaps

My son and I do a few now as time permit. I began a quest to find a set for my truck I am working on, and bought one set, restored those, then found a better set, and it sort of got out of hand, but you might say I am always on the lookout for that better one or a set, and it never ends, and do a few P01's, and a few 1/2 ton dog dish, then made some tooling to do K20 fronts once in a while. As some have mentioned, just purchasing a set to restore has gotten quite tough, then add in the materials, hours of labor, etc, it is not not always for everyone. Most are simply not willing to pay todays shop rates for restoring a hub cap, but I can assure you it takes the same type skill level on some of them. But, we are not trying to make a living or do full time, nor charge body shop rates (this set likely has 8-10 hours labor).
