Yeah I was shocked to log in and see someone else needing them as well today. I found a couple old threads on them but it’s been a while since I’ve seen anything posted on them.

I wasn’t originally planning on using them but since I built the 496, I’ve decided I want to have more than 100mi range, maybe they aren’t such a bad idea.

I’m thinking I can turn the threaded part of the nut on my lathe and I’m going to attempt to press the washer part from 1/8” sheet using my hydraulic press. Plan B is just turn the flat part too. Either way I’ll weld them together. I’m 87% sure it will result in something useable.
