Re: Car Shows are no longer free... but it's still worth the cost.

I’m right near Newport Tennessee, and we have two VERY GOOD Car shows in the City park. One is an organization for Cancer Awareness, and the other is the Moonshiners Run. Both have been going for 30+ years. Both don’t charge any admission for spectators. $20 if you’re entering a vehicle. The Park is PERFECT for shows because of the amount of shade, and all the on-site amenities.
Another nice aspect is that as large as these shows are, the entry vehicles are all “Everyday People” owned (no big name high dollar Dream Machines”)
There’s a few clubs that come in every year, and also individual entries.
Keep in mind I’m only 15 miles from all the shows in the Pigeon Forge area, and I prefer these two shows and a couple over in Maggie Valley NC over ANY of the big name shows.
On a side note though, I do go to both Rod Runs, because the vendors usually have awesome deals on parts and tools.
