Typically for a more common long wide bed, Custom or CST, a 50th will have little or no added value. If one were to find an original 50th 4x4, Longhorn, Step Side, in combination with other rare interesting/desirable options, it might add some value vs a non 50th truck.
Probably, in the end the fact that a 50th is two-toned probably has the same effect on value as other two-tone paint options available in 68. It is the only two-toned 68 with a white offsetting color under the trim.
It was a promotional thing Chevrolet did back in the day and definitely adds a cool factor to the 68's.
