Hooker Exhaust Manifolds 8525HKR

Just bought a pair of Hooker 8525HKR exhaust manifolds for my 69 C10. Unfortunately, they will not clear the motor mount frame bracket on the drivers side. Not sure about the other side, but it doesn't matter.

Distance from the centerline of the manifold bolts to the hump on the motor mount bracket is approx 3-3/4" . But you can see here where the Hooker manifold drops down 4-1/2".

Not only that, but I'd have to fabricate at least one power steering hose.

Lucky I bought them from Summit, because their store is less than an hour away. I would hate to pay for return freight!

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
