I have a 01 Chevy step side with the small V8 engine that is displaying the code P0171/P0174 which designates a lean running condition. Under remedies they list about 6 causes that causes this code. I have had a mechanic replace the fuel pump. One replaced the MAF sensor. It can get expensive going down the list replacing parts hoping that this replacement part will fix the problem.

Anyone have this same problem? Would like to hear what it was that you did that eliminated it running lean and kept the check engine light off! Thanks in advance.
