Interested in the AR5 swap.
Used T56s are crazy expensive around here, might as well buy a new one. My '52 is a 250 with WC T5, which should will hold up Ok, but I lost my 'spare' T5 to my son to replace the grenaded T5 in his LS swapped 3rd gen Z28. The T5 stood up for a couple years, but then he put big wide corvette rims and tires on it and that was too much for 3rd gear.
To answer your question, I took the low buck but higher effort approach and cut up a c10 pedal box to fit the AD and converted clutch to hydraulic.
Here is the pedal box shortened to fit, welded to a plate that bolts to firewall and bolted to a plate welded to dash:
With pedals, slight tweaks to pedals to clear column were needed :
