Cruise was availble from 1967-71. In 1972 it was discontinued and was removed from the GM truck order guide. Do to customer demand it was made available in 1972 from the parts counter. It was the same as 1971 except the button to set the cruise was located below the the dash. By moving it it save the mechanic labor in adding it to the steering column. What you have here is the 1972 version.

From 1973-78 GM made this similar kit available over the counter for truck owners that did not have cruise.
