suburban dash a/c first available year? or something more pointed to your query might garner more responses
neither my '71 or '72 suburban has a/c and can't honestly say from all the suburbans I've looked at but I'm sure someone in here knows
I can offer this '71 suburban brochure that mentions the body-integrated air conditioning option and the dash pictured above is non-air
the '71 pickup truck and blazer brochures both show a/c in dash so sure looks like there's was something holding back the air option in the dash in suburbans
