Can my steering wheel be 1/4 turn off on the shaft ?

You can move your steering wheel so it is centered but with the spacers between the frame and steering box I think you will find that your truck will turn sharper one direction than it will the other. I removed the pitman arm on my '67 and ground more grooves in it so I could install it in any position on the steering box lower output shaft. I then centered the front wheels, centered steering wheel and re-installed my pitman arm. That cured all of my problems with the steering.
