1968 GMC K2500 3/4 ton 4x4 Long Bed Stepper

This truck was rescued from a field a couple of years ago out of California. Dropped in a 292 six-cylinder motor with the proper cross member and mounts.
The truck had a bent tie rod up front that only let it turn to the right. That was replaced with a brand new tie rod and end fittings from Barnes 4x4, 1-ton version. Everything turns great now. The passenger side stepside fender and step were crushed in. Metal worked the fender to look very presentable and replaced both steps with a set from the forum. Installed new ignition with tumbler, wiring harness under the hood from American Autowire, new hoses, belts, ect when installing motor. The bed wood and metal strips are toast but purchased new Ash wood, metal strips and hardware for the bed that go with the truck. The truck has factory-stock 17" rims that are noted on the pieced-together build sheet.

The truck is a good running and driving truck that could be used as is or finished up to the next level. The truck is registered in Vermont with a current plate and registration. Vermont does not issue titles for anything over 15 years old. Take the registration to any DMV and they will turn that registration into a title or leave it registered in Vermont which will cost about $70 per year.

No trades, I am thinning the herd. $9400
