If you have a line with -an fittings, your caliper and brake line on the chassis would need some sort of adapters on them as well. The caliper would have a banjo bolt to -an adapter and the brake line would be inverted flare to -an. That's if the lines and calipers are stock to your chassis.

Looking at the damage, it appears to have been bumped with a cut wheel or grinder is my guess.
