Most of your pix, I see "mat black" and perhaps overspray, exception is the red truck. LOL. GM certainly did some oddball things that was not consistent, such as the A/C dash surrounds on either side, and in some cases the glove box doors with "Super" wood grain appliqué. Still, painting something body color that one cannot get to for cleaning and polishing simply does not make much sense, and IMO, looks very weird, because it's two separate 1 foot + items. being black or argent, simply makes them blend and be more inconspicuous. If it were one continuous piece from side/side, that would make sense'ish.

I'm still not convinced
