For a steel bed floor to frame? I give, why? I know they're carriage bolts, but the head bottoms don't contact the washers, speaking for a 1971.

I believe the original washers are extra thick however, like all or most bed assembly washers.

I'm sure glad this came up. Years ago a seasoned Chevy guy said they were just regular washers. Perhaps he misunderstood. Anyway, I kept them anyhow, and had them finished black zinc. Mine vary, but they seem to serve the same purpose, sorta
