As others have commented, at this point Dropped Spindles would be the way to go. Much more than a 2" dropped spring in the front and you will start to have alignment issues and the overall geometry will change somewhat.
What these companies don't tell you is, a new 2" dropped spring is measured against a NEW stock spring. These trucks are 50yrs + old and most of them were used on farms, hauling stuff, and of course just time causes the stock springs to sag a little. So a 50yr old stock height truck won't be much lower than a 50yr old truck with 2" dropped springs. You might see .50-.75" difference.
If you go with dropped spindles, a 2" drop is going to net a full 2" lower. Regardless of the spring. Spindles won't change your steering or spension geometry .. it's just a better option to go ahead and spend the money and get some spindles. Replace the ball joints while you have them out.. etc. It's like a disease man, once you tear into it there's a bunch of stuff you can do to make these trucks drive so much better.
