A couple years ago I picked up a Suburban taillight complete with the socket and housing. I set it in the box of spare taillights until this morning when I needed an 1157 bulb for the Burban. After checking my stash of light bulbs and coming back empty handed. (The stash only had a pair of 1154's which after checking I found out are 6 volt. Well at least I didn't find that out the hard way.
)
So I turned to the box of spare taillights hoping to find the correct bulb in an old taillight. Sure enough I got luck but in an unusual way.
The bulb in the Burban taillight was this old school bulb with leads to hook up extra taillights or possibly trailer lights. First time I've come across a bulb like this.
It's not as cool as many of the items in this thread but, it's nice bump to the top for the thread.
