You done good Jethro . That's a great driver for boppin' around so you can pamper the other one. I wish I had a red '68 glovebox door to send you. What I did in truck I had was paint a door to match the gauge cluster.

I had a '72 SWB 6cyl/3sp in grey primer that ran like a top. Shifted smooth and all. There's something about buzzing along with that combination. A real throw-back. I can remember how much I enjoyed that truck. But back then, silly me couldn't wait to swap in all the Cheyenne stuff and 402/TH400 off another truck and lower it. I started into it, then found a lowered rolling chassis with everything new and all set up how I wanted and let that 6-banger go. that was dumb. I could have kept driving that one all this time
