Started cutting down my Austree.
My advice is don't plant one. I started this one by poking a hole in the ground and sticking a cut off branch in the hole. Then poked a bunch of holes all the way around it and kept pouring water in the holes to keep the ground saturated.
That thing grew like crazy and made a beautiful tree for about 8 years, then it started deteriorating. It only took about 2 years until the trunk split down the middle and it started rotting in the center. Time to cut it down before it falls into the farmers field after he gets his crops in.....
The last picture is my trusty old Homelite 20" Super XL, that I bought new, I think in 1982 or 83. I still starts and runs great I wish I could say that for the MAC 110. My father in law bought it new but I don't know the year. It starts great first thing in the morning but once you shut it off or it runs out of fuel it will not start again until the next morning. I have threatened to take the 3# maul to it a few times but it sure is handy when it starts....
