Add me to the list of who hates the "safe" gas cans and those stupid nozells.
I was looking for a couple of 1 or 2 gallon ones a couple of years ago and all I could find were plastic ones with ridiculous spouts and high priced. One 3 gallon plastic one at Lowe's was $38 too! I passed.
I have a 3 gallon metal gas can with spring loaded cap like that one that I have had for over 40 years that a Dupont Chemical rep gave me. They are real big on safety. It's not wearing out and the last time I looked they are still available. Even in a fire they will not explode unless the metal can is compromised.
