Get a wood stove or pellet stove insert for the fireplace.
I have baseboard, a old non EPA wood stove and a pellet stove insert.
I can heat cheaper with the baseboard per day than with the pellet stove.
The pellet stove uses a fan to force feed the fire and turn the auger.
The wood stove just cranks out the heat and wood is free or permit fee.
I get mill ends for free in town and Junipers are weeds here.
The wood stove runs 24 7 when I use it and is black out proof.
