The only part that should "spread" is the rear of the cab, right? It just seems to me that the firewall side should hold up. You gonna put the braces in the cab corners to floor? Front to back, side to side? Both? You are going to build a box behind the rockers. Would just a heavier plate between the cab supports and behind the the rocker work? Sorry for so many questions, but I gotta know. Just started working for the railroad and gotta figure out how to spend all this extra money
