Mike,

I have had good luck installing wheel studs using a open stock wheel nut reversed (flat surface in & no wheel ofcourse) and hitting them with an impact wrench.

Just make sure the naruled portion of the stud will not come all the way threw the axle flange before you use this method, if it will place a couple washers over the stud first.
