Alot of it depends on how much room you have in you shop.

Would I buy a Craftsman Atlas again? No.

I am invested in it now.

Yeah , Most lathes are China made now.

Only the Old School lathes have the threaded chucks.

The newer ones have bolt patten or D1-4 or so on.
