I'm having some other problems with the motor tho. At 10,000 miles now on this fresh motor I'm using oil, a LOT of oil. I had Total Seal gapless rings installed and I believe they never seated and it also seems to needs valve stem seals. I'm burning a quart per 150 miles. She smokes like grandpa did and there's some crank case pressure. I'm not real pleased as this will be the 3rd time I've had to pull the motor for work. I need to do a leak down test but I'm in the middle of moving so I'm working the truck then once I get settled again I'll have to leak test the motor then dig into it.

I haven't back read this thread on your fuel issues yet. I'll get caught up and holler if I can think of anything that may help.
Ooof! Yeah thats a lot of oil alright. Man I hate pulling any engine that Ive gone through for any reason. Especially a new one. At least its running good and getting better mpg!

Good luck with the move and remember to throw a tarp on the trailer you're using to move stuff with.... unless you want everything waterproofed!

Thanks for checking in. It sounds like you got your hands full!
