I think the 427/7.0l truck engines are tall deck low rpm engines about 260hp 385lbft torque, 3000rpm max, 4 rings on the pistons. As a stump puller or a dump truck or grain hauler they are great. The blocks are used for the start of the 572ci engines bored and stroked. The "super 10" would fall in the same place, long stroke between gears would make it not suited for banging gears between stop lights and to heavy. In a pickup with a 4.10 rear it might make good fuel mileage. The engines are tough and take a lot of abuse. A guy down the street use to have a C60 tandem rear dump body, used every day to haul dirt, rock and saw dust. He would replace the engine every two years or so before he got rid of the truck. But he worked it hard every day.
