Do a mileage check, then change the engine, diff, and manual trans (if so equipped) oil to a quality synthetic (preferably Amsoil, IMO). Repeat mileage check with same driving technique and usage (all highway or all city or daily commute with no differences, etc.). Cheap thing to try for maybe up to one mpg increase. Possibly two.
