In this truck I just used the temp stuff, my other truck I used both, they work very good. Keeps a lot of the heat from the motor and sun out. The sound makes the cab feel very solid. I put both inside, with a gallon you can do floor, fire wall, back of cab and roof. It also adds a waterproof layer, I also just sprayed the temp stuff in my sons Jeep CJ6

I'm not sure how much temp control it will do the Lizard skin temp control has little ceramic balls mixed in, but if you put a good layer of that stuff on it should add some sound insulation.
